After a full week of high sugar treats (Christmas-New year’s Eve) and then mid-Day “Linner” it was time to have an evening snack of something with no or little sugar – all of the chocolates and other assortment of  candies and lots of tempting sugary sweets were hidden away or in some cases eaten ( I’m pretty sure I have become a sugar addict)  it was a nice time to just have cheese and crackers,( along with some olives and cucumbers and mixed nuts)  as a snack late in the evening – like around 6:30 at night – past our normal evening meal time. Time to wean off of sugar!!
