In Monterey for a few days and had dinner out on the pier, walking to the pier we always see the Sea Lions and hear their barking. This time there were so many that you couldn’t see the ground and they were climbing all over each other and actually lying up on top of the wall – the park system had erected steel barriers so that the Sea Lions couldn’t actually get out into the crowd. It was crazy and fun to see the people’s reactions to the noise and closeness – the video is actually from early in the morning when we took our walk – less than half the number ( you could actually see the dirt) –  oh ya – they were really stinky
