Fun quick trip – Flew to Minneapolis on Friday (got in at midnight) went to visit Mom for her 92nd Birthday- She looks great and has such a strong positive attitude about life – went to Dinner with Brothers and Sister and spouses – great evening. Picked up Amii and the two boys at Midnight (of course) on Sunday and then on Monday had a dinner at Chris and Becky’s house – just about the whole family was there – it’s getting to be quite a crowd. Next morning (Tuesday) we got up visited Mom again to say goodbye and then drove 7 hours down to Kansas to enjoy seeing Matt Retire from 22 years (6 tours over seas)  in the Army – what a wonderful ceremony- then on Friday a huge Party at Matt’s home – great time had by all – got up the next morning at flew home – quick trip but worth every minute
